Their salmon is awesome and they make great cappuccinos!  Nice location and atmosphere and consistent quality.

Great seafood.  A little expensive for what you get, but the view is beautiful and the quality is very good.  All in all a fun place.

Out of this world Chinese food.  Awesome!  Seating is very close and this is not a fancy place - it's all about the food.

Best pork ribs I have ever had and I was born and raised in Texas!!!!  The dry-rub is my favorite.

Amazing sushi!  Don't even ask for a menu - sit at the bar and let them prepare for you.  Not a fancy place, but the quality of the sushi is great.

I've been eating at Houston's since the early 1990's when my college girlfriend was a waitress there and she introduced me to the owner Tim.  She and other coworkers used to complain because Tim was so meticulous that he would make them dust the ceiling each night.  I don't know if he still does that, but needless to say the wait-staff used to joke about being able to eat off of the floor in the kitchen.

The food is fantastic and consistent.  The ribeye is great, the ribs are great, the hamburgers are outstanding, and the vegetables are awesome (they typically have a few fresh vegetables that change each day like brussel sprouts, red cabbage, etc.)  They also used to offer (not regularly) a bowl of vanilla bean ice cream with a tureen of Ghiradelli hot fudge that you could pour yourself for desert.

Please don't even think of giving this place less than 5 stars.  I was born and raised in Laredo, TX and during a recent visit, while eating at Taco Palenque, I overheard Laredoans talking about the great Mexican food at Las Manitas in Austin!!!!  I can't tell you how unbelievable that is...

I've been eating at Tamale House since 1985!!  The food is consistent - I would even say that the Migas with cheese tastes exactly like it did 20yrs ago!  The place rocks and the food is absolutely awesome.  I'm from Laredo, Texas, so believe me, I know Mexican food (or at least Tex-Mex).
